Truck Driver / Laborer Position

Milford Department of Public Works is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Truck Driver / Laborer (Grade 13) within our Public Works Department. This is a full-time position (40/hrs./wk.) reporting to the H&S General Foreman or Director. We are looking for someone who has the ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner, is conscientious, honest, energetic and dependable. Duties will include, but are not limited to: maintaining a safe workplace, the operation of construction equipment, snow and ice removal, landscaping/construction, vehicle/ground building maintenance, paving, storm water/drainage and other duties as assigned. A successful applicant must be at least 18 years of age, have a NH Class B CDL (REQUIRED) - Class A CDL is preferred, have a High School diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience within the area of winter/summer municipal road maintenance; OR possess any combination of education and experience which demonstrates the required knowledge, skill and ability.
