The Somersworth Police Department is hiring!
What does it take to join?
You must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, 20/20 corrected eyesight, and be able to pass a physical fitness test. After being hired, you would attend a 16 week police training academy. You must be at least 21 years of age by the time you graduate from the academy. The physical fitness requirements are posted online at the NH Police Standards & Training Council website at www.pstc.nh.gov.
