The Town of Wakefield is looking for two highly motivated candidates to fill two full time Firefighter/ Advanced EMT positions with the Wakefield Fire Department. The Wakefield Fire Department is a rapidly growing combination department serving the towns of Wakefield and Brookfield (over 68 sq. miles combined) with a roster of 9 Career Firefighters and approximately 20 On-Call/Part Time Firefighters/EMS Providers. The shifts are comprised of 3 shifts of 2 FF/AEMTs on a non-traditional Kelly Day schedule with a Day Time Captain working Monday through Thursday 7am-5pm. These two openings are to create additional staffing as our call volume continues to grow.
