The Town of Raymond (est. pop. 11,000) seeks an Administrative Assistant for the Police Department Prosecutor.
This is a part-time (32 hours/week), non-union, hourly position that reports to the Prosecutor.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the prosecutor's office by providing administrative, clerical, and organizational assistance. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and a reliable and motivated work ethic.
Qualifications preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher in legal studies, criminal justice, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a legal or law enforcement setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is a plus.
