NHMA's Margaret Byrnes to Serve as "Small Cities" Panel Moderator!
NHMA's Executive Director will moderate a small cities panel as part of a tele-town hall event regarding the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently finalized revisions to the Lead and Copper Rule, providing the first major update to the rule in 30 years.
The National League of Cities (NLC) is partnering with the Lead Service Line Replacement Collaborative to help municipal leaders identify opportunities to reduce exposure to lead in water, replace lead service lines and better understand the revisions.
This is part one of a three-part series of virtual townâhall events intended to inform municipal leaders and water utility operators on the implications, requirements and opportunities associated with these rule revisions. This tele-town hall will focus specifically on the rule requirements for municipalities with population of 10,000 or below.
