Recreation Program Coordinator - Camp and After School Programs

The Town of Merrimack is hiring a Full Time Recreation Program Coordinator that will be responsible for coordinating and directing the Town of Merrimack's Summer Day Camp program, along with the After School and Vacation Week programs. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative team member to evaluate and grow these out of school time programs.

Position is Monday - Fridays with occasional evening hours required.

Candidates must:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Early Childhood Education, Physical Education, Outdoor Education or related field is preferred. Combination of education  and experience that indicates an ability to meet the requirements of the job are also acceptable.
• Must have 1 – 3 years of experience working with elementary school aged children.
• Previous experience supervising and managing High School & College aged staff.
• Current CPR and Standard First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain.
