Repairs and maintains a variety of makes and models of trucks, road-building machines, and other City owned motor equipment. HS diploma or GED and 3 to 5 years’ experience in journey level equipment repair duties including experience in the maintenance of both diesel- and gas-powered equipment is required. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Strong knowledge of principles and procedures of preventive maintenance related to automotive, heavy and light construction equipment used in a municipal setting. Valid CDL class B with air brake certification required. Must be a Certified NH Motor Vehicle Inspector or ability to be certified within one year.
