Heavy Equipment Operator-Job Posting

The Town of Deering is accepting applications for a Heavy Equipment Operator.  Candidate must have a minimum of at least 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment for the purpose of maintaining, rehabilitating and or/reconstructing gravel, paved roadways and open drainage ditches.  Experience operating a dump truck, loader, and backhoe is also required.  The position requires knowledge of and experience in operating snow removal equipment up to and including 10-wheel trucks with plows, wing-plows and sanders. The candidate will possess a valid New Hampshire Driver’s License with a good driving record, and a class “B” CDL License.  The candidate must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent. The successful candidate must be able to pass a physical, substance abuse screening, and a criminal background check prior to employment. The Town of Deering is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
