Starting salary range for this position is $72,622.61 - $88,273.23 a year per the Professional Management Association (PMA) Working Agreement.

Position performs highly responsible inspection and some administrative functions for the Health Department. Position conducts inspections, foodborne illness investigations, investigates environmental health complaints, provides food safety and other public education, and issues permits, to ensure for public health and safety of the community; enforces various municipal ordinances, state and federal regulations, and sanitary and environmental codes regarding public health and safety; and performs public health emergency response duties as required. Position may perform occasional oversight of the department in the absence of supervisory staff.
