The New Hampton Fire Department is accepting applications and resumes for open Full Time Firefighter II / EMT, AEMT or Paramedic positions.
New Hampton, NH is a rural community, covering 36 square miles with residential, light commercial / industrial areas, and The New Hampton School. Additionally, Interstate 93 runs through the community, and exit 23 brings over 20,000 people per day into and through New Hampton during peak seasons.
The New Hampton Fire Department is a combination department with predominantly per-diem and on-call staffing. We are a fire-based Ambulance service currently licensed at the AEMT level.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals of all experience levels, lateral transfers encouraged, to build our full-time staffing.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pro Board or IFSAC Firefighter II
• Nationally Registered as an Emergency Medical Technician
• Current Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) or a lateral transfer as required by the State of NH
• Must be able to pass a criminal record and driving background check.
• Successful completion of an NFPA 1582 pre-employment physical
Salary and Benefits Package:
The starting salary is based on certifications and years of experience. The benefit package includes health and dental insurance, vacation, holiday pay, and State of New Hampshire Group 2 Retirement.
