Facilities Manager

The Town of Newbury is currently accepting applications for a full-time Facilities Manager. This new position is responsible for performing maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and property, and mowing/landscaping of Town properties. This position also requires contracting with outside professionals for maintenance or repair as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience with general preventive maintenance, corrective repair of buildings, vehicles, equipment, and grounds; uses several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling; and works independently.

College degree preferred, high school graduate or equivalent life experience in the trades, basic computer skills, and business management skills including budgeting.
