The Town of Gilmanton is seeking a Full-Time Equipment Operator to join the Town's Highway Department. This is a Full-Time forty-hour (40) a week position with benefits, working under the general supervision of the Road Agent. This position begins at $23.54 with an incentive after the probationary period and offers educational opportunities.
Duties are varied and diversified in maintaining public roads, including equipment operation used in the construction and maintenance of streets, culverts, and other public works projects along with the manual labor assignments.
Certification Required: CDL-B
Summer Hours - May through October 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., 4 days per week
Winter Hours - November through April 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., with opportunity for overtime
