The Town of Dunbarton, New Hampshire seeks a progressive leader as its next Fire Chief. Appointed by the Selectmen, the Fire Chief is responsible for the overall management, administration, and operational direction of the Dunbarton Fire Department.
The department consists of up to 35 on-call members. The position requires extensive knowledge of firefighting techniques, safety practices, and emergency response systems. (i.e.., Incident Command System)
Experience including successful implementation of changes in fire administration technology and practices. Data-driven decision-making, excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders. Extensive experience with emergency management, strategic planning, and a commitment to continuous improvement to provide the highest level of fire services given the available resources.
· Pay: Negotiable
· Expected hours: 20-25 hours (flexible schedule)
