Cleaning Services

Scope of Work: The Epsom Select Board is seeking proposals for Cleaning Services for the Epsom Police Station:

Twice a Month:

·         Vacuum all floor mats and carpets.

·         Vacuum or sweep all tile flooring and mop.

·         Spot clean all walls, doorframes, and switch plates (up to 6’).

·         Clean glass on all entrance doors (interior and exterior).

·         Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures.

·         Clean and sanitize kitchen fixtures and counters.

·         Dust and clean moldings, ledges, sills, partitions, shelves, and doorframes (up to 6’) and remove any cobwebs.

Twice a Year:

·         Wash all windows and door glass (interior and exterior).

·         Clean exterior lights and remove bugs.

·         Steam clean carpet.

Products and Materials: The Town of Epsom will provide cleaning products, trash bags, and paper products. Any cleaning equipment not onsite at a Police Station will be supplied by the Vendor.

Hours of Service: Work must be performed Monday – Friday between the hours of 8AM and 4PM. 

Terms of Contract: The contract will be valid for one (1) year with the option to renew for the following year. The contract can be terminated with thirty (30) day notice from either party and notice of termination must be in writing.

Insurance: A Certificate of Insurance must be provided prior to the commencement of work.

·         Comprehensive General Liability  $1,000,000

·         Worker’s Compensation $500,000 per accident

Additional Requirements: Background check and Criminal Justice Information Services Security Awareness Training

Billing Procedure: No payments will be made in advance of services performed and invoices should be mailed/emailed to the Town Office.

Quote Delivery: Quotes should be marked “Cleaning Services Quotes Police Station” and delivered to the Epsom Town Office by 3:00 PM on July 19, 2024.

Bid Acceptance: The Select Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes in the best interest of the Town of Epsom.
