Town of Littleton NH Fire and Rescue
The Town of Littleton Fire & Rescue Department is accepting applications for one immediate Firefighter position, also creating a hiring list for near future anticipated Firefighter positions. Littleton is a vibrant community of approx. 6000 residents located in the White Mountains along the Vermont border. A center for business, shopping, medical care, education and services in New Hampshire’s North County, Littleton was named one of the Best Towns in the US by Outside Magazine ®.
Minimum Qualifications Include:
· High School Diploma
· Valid New Hampshire Driver’s License
· NH Firefighter II or Pro Board-Certified Firefighter II (within 1 year)
· Nationally Registered Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (Paramedic preferred) (within 1 year)
· Current CPAT or Lateral transfer pursuant to New Hampshire Administrative Rule, Chapter Fire 703
Other benefits:
- Schedule: 24/72 for an average of 42hrs per week (Union position)
- Starting pay $22:96-$24.34/hr depending on qualifications.

The Town of Littleton conducts extensive pre-employment background/criminal/motor vehicle records checks, a NFPA 1582 pre-employment physical and drug & alcohol testing for all successful applicant candidates.
