AIRPORT SUPERVISOR - TERMINAL AND LANDSIDE OPERATIONS

General Statement of Duties:
Supervises Terminal and Landside Operations for safety, security, efficiency and convenience of operations in compliance with FAA, TSA, and other federal, state, and local rules and regulations; performs directly related work as required.
Examples of Essential Work:
- Supervises, coordinates and centralizes activities related to terminal and landside operations;
- Monitors Airport activities for safety, security and compliance with State and Federal regulations;
- Monitors critical infrastructure and systems to ensure operational readiness of the airport;
- Monitors airline operations, tenant operations, construction and maintenance activities on the Airport complex for compliance with all regulations;
- Coordinates activities with terminal tenants; including: airlines, passenger service providers, concessioners, and rental car agencies;
- Complete daily terminal and landside inspections and other operational inspections;
- Monitors compliance with contractual operating hours of various terminal operators and generates weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for Airport management use.
- Oversees airport terminal operations to ensure compliance with all FAA, TSA, Federal, State and local regulations;
- Addresses issues from airport tenants, users and the general public, and others as required;
- Directs and participates in the inspection of terminal facilities for compliance with FAA and TSA rules, regulations and operating procedures;
- Performs the duties for the Worker Checkpoint and product inspections;
- Ensures all airport tenants remain aware of irregular operations (IROPs) and coordinates responses appropriately and ensure seamless guest service is provided;
- Responds to emergency situations occurring at the Airport;
- Participates in the implementation of the Airport’s emergency plan and determines action to be taken in response to emergency situations;
- Directs assignments of parking positions for aircraft diverted to Manchester;
- Ensures enforcement of airport rules and regulations;
- Prepares detailed reports, correspondence, and notices;
- Assists in the development and administration of safety and training programs;
- Administers, oversees and participates in training, testing and evaluation of personnel seeking special permits, licenses and identification media for operation at the Airport Terminal;

Acceptable Experience and Training:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; and
- Considerable experience in airport terminal operations and/or airport operations, or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Required Special Qualifications:
- On-call status;
- Ability to pass local and federal background checks and receive an Airport ID badge;
- Valid NH Driver’s License.
