Administrative Clerk

The Town of Newmarket is seeking a full-time Administrative Clerk.  Individual will provide administrative support to the Town Clerk-Tax Collector and public customer service for tax & utility bill collection, motor vehicle registrations, vital records, dog licensing, elections and other Town Clerk activities. Candidate must possess a High School diploma/G.E.D. and have 2-3 years of documented experience in general office practices.  A successful candidate will be team-oriented, friendly and will be able to multi-task in a busy office.  The candidate must have strong communication, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail, ability to work well independently and in collaboration with others and computer experience. Rate of pay based on qualifications and experience.  Excellent benefits package which includes health/dental insurance, paid time off and retirement.
