Account Clerk

The Franklin City Clerk/ Tax Collector is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of an Account Clerk. The Account Clerk performs a variety of clerical duties to assist with the operation of the City Clerk/ Tax Collector's office, under the direction of the City Clerk/ Tax Collector. Duties include but are not limited to: motor vehicle, boat and OHRV registrations, dog registration, hunting & fishing licensing, vital statistics, collection of property taxes and water/sewer payments.  This position requires personal interaction with the general public in a friendly professional manner.

 

Successful candidates will possess a High School Diploma/GED, have knowledge of general office procedures and equipment and have the ability to obtain certification thru the NH DMV within the first months of employment.

 

Pay is dependent on candidate’s qualifications with a range from $18.50/hour - $21.45/hour. The City of Franklin offers a generous benefit package.
