The Right-to-Know Law and Governmental Meetings

Join Legal Services Counsel Stephen Buckley and Municipal Services Counsel Natch Greyes who will discuss the requirements for holding a proper public meeting, as well the exceptions to the meeting requirement (the so-called "non-meeting"), in light of the Covid-19 epidemic. The attorneys will address the fundamentals of the public meeting requirements of RSA chapter 91-A, as well as the particular circumstances that we face as a state. This virtual workshop will cover the procedural requirements and difficult “meeting” issues that municipalities are facing at this time.
