JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Risk Coordinator supports all loss prevention, claim management and risk mitigation strategies and functions through data management, monitoring, reporting and coordination of programs. The position is responsible for but not limited to claim housekeeping, filing systems and archive management; managing data and information for elevator/boiler program and coordinating with elevator company, the State of NH Department of Labor and insurance inspectors; processes weekly medical and indemnity payments; coordinates with City and School Departments vehicle data, reviews and approves all incoming insurance certificates, schedules plaza events and provides insurance/risk guidance as needed to departments. This is a full-time Unaffiliated position, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and provides an excellent work life balance. The position is a grade 11, with an hourly rate dependent upon experience.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate Degree (2 years) in Administrative Support/Business equivalent or 3-5 years relevant job experience
- Proficient in the use and application of computer-based information, spreadsheet, word processing, related office management applications and specialized software related to Risk Management
- Must be able to use applicable claims management system and all database software applications relevant to position within 30 days of acceptance of position
- Must be an excellent communicator, detail-oriented and possess superior organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and thoroughness with a deep commitment to accuracy is a must
