The Town of Deering Highway Department has a vacancy for a full-time Mechanic. Qualified applicants must have or be able to obtain the New Hampshire vehicle inspection license within six months of hire and be able to perform maintenance on heavy duty trucks and equipment. Applicants with a CDL and airbrakes endorsement are preferred, but not required. Must have at least 2 years of experience maintaining heavy equipment or equitable practice. The Town of Deering has a pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing policy. Salary is commensurate on experience. Applications accepted until position is filled.
