The Wilmot Police Department is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our small team. Applicants must be “full-time” certified in New Hampshire and be able to pass the physical agility test, medical examination, oral board interview, psychological exam, submit to a thorough background investigation and complete a modified field training program. Applicants must have high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license and be 21 years of age by hire date.
Hourly pay between $25-$36 and a signing bonus of up to $10,000 (depending on experience). This is a full-time position with a competitive municipal benefits package including 100% employee and dependent health coverage, participation in the NH Retirement System and short-term disability insurance. An applicant who qualifies for the “Police Supervisor” job in the link below would be able to be promoted after completing a modified field training program and probation period.
