The Town of Hampton has a full-time, Operator 1 position available at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
A person in this position assists in the operation and maintenance of the pump stations, and the wastewater treatment plant equipment; performs general maintenance, and mechanical repair tasks and related work as required.
A successful candidate must have considerable knowledge of motors, pumps, compressors, gauges, gas and diesel engines. The ability to operate and maintain gas and diesel engines; the ability to assist in the operation, repair and maintenance of motors and pumps; basic computer skills, and the ability to work with others.
