Assessor

The Town of Conway, NH is accepting applications and resumes for the position of Town Assessor.  This is a full-time 40 hours per week position with a salary range of $85,000-$105,000 depending on experience.

The Town Assessor is responsible for supervising, administering the inspection and appraisal of commercial and residential property and setting the property value for tax assessment purposes. 

Candidate must be a New Hampshire certified Assessor, have at least five years’ experience as an Assessor or in other related fields.  The successful candidate will have proven leadership management skills needed to supervise staff and communicate effectively with the citizens of Conway.  Assessor will report directly to the Town Manager and advise the Board of Selectmen in assessing matters.  The Town of Conway fosters a good work environment along with a supportive Board of Selectmen.
