The Town of Andover NH is seeking a full-time, hourly highway worker. The position requires the ability to participate in a variety of public works projects including plowing, mowing, maintenance of town roads & culverts, and other related activities.
A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is needed for this position. The Town will cover the cost of training for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). They must have the ability to work with hand tools, move in awkward spaces and on uneven terrain, and meet the demands of a municipal road maintenance schedule.
The ideal candidate lives within 30 minutes commute of Andover.
This position reports to the Highway Supervisor / Road Agent.
