The Town of Plainfield is accepting applications for a full-time police chief. Plainfield is a rural bedroom community located on the Connecticut River in central New Hampshire. The police chief is a key leader in our organization and community. Plainfield highly values a proactive community-based policing approach.  The successful candidate will have full time NH police certification or the ability to obtain that certification quickly. The selection process may include a background questionnaire/application, written exam, psychological and agility testing, a polygraph and medical examination, and an extensive background investigation.
