Planning Technician

The Town of Raymond, NH seeks an individual for a full-time, non-exempt position for Planning Technician. 

Job Summary

Under the primary direction, and supervision of the Planning & Development Director, will perform a variety of duties, such as providing technical assistance and support to the Planning & Development Department, Town Manager, Planning Board, ZBA, and to the public. 

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in urban planning or closely related field preferred. Any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job. Previous experience as a Planning Technician or similar position is preferred. 

Licenses, Certifications, and Additional Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required. Individuals will be subject to a background check. 

Wage Range/Benefits:  

Pay Rate: $25 - $28.50/hour Dependent upon experience and qualifications.
