Matt Lehrman is the co-founder and managing director of Social Prosperity Partners, an Arizona-based consulting firm dedicated to the proposition that “Where people work together courageously, their potential is unlimited.”
As a national speaker, Matt inspires and instructs audiences of civic and nonprofit leaders on topics of civility and community engagement. (MattLehrman.com) He produces and hosts the Tell Me More podcast (TellMeMorePodcast.us) offering “courageous conversations” that invite audiences to listen deeply to diverse viewpoints, an essential quality in a healthy democracy.
Matt will also be presenting at a break out session called: Let's Talk: From Conflict to Conversation. Matt facilitates a follow-up discussion that invites attendees to share challenges and seek practical advice from each other. Come prepared to “wear your heart on your sleeve” about how to engage more people and gather agreement around whatever you hope to accomplish in your community.

This year's event features the NHMA Annual Business Meeting, 50 educational sessions, sponsors and exhibitors, and networking opportunities for hundreds of officials from all sectors of municipal government. This annual event helps support municipal leaders by equipping them with the latest knowledge, resources, and tools to advance their cities and towns and assist local officials in their daily roles and operations within municipalities.

The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the prestigious Russ Marcoux Municipal Advocate of the Year award. Each year, NHMA staff present this award to a municipal member who has demonstrated exceptional interactions with officials during the legislative session. Established in 2011, this award honors an elected or appointed local official for their non-partisan contributions to advancing NHMA's legislative policy goals and advocating for municipal interests.
For an added twist, this year’s entertainment features a thrilling murder mystery! Put on your detective hat and join the fun as we solve the mystery together.
