Town of Hudson

The Town of Hudson, NH, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Land Use Director.  Working under the general direction of the Town Administrator and the Board of Selectmen, the Land Use Director provides management, leadership, and coordination to the planning, engineering, zoning, code enforcement, and economic development activities of the Town.  The Land Use Director also serves as the Town Planner. Must possess a service orientated attitude, and a thorough knowledge of the land use operations and functions of a municipal land use department. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Urban or Regional Planning, or closely related discipline, Master’s Degree highly desirable, with a minimum of ten years related experience, including at least five years in a supervisory capacity. American Planning Association member and American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification preferred.  Must be proficient with a computer, including experience with GIS.  Salary to high $90s, commensurate with experience, plus excellent benefits.
