Welfare Officer

The Town of Warner, NH is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Welfare Officer. The position is responsible for administering the town’s General Assistance Program; reviews client applications, accompanying documentation, and interviews applicants to assess personal and financial situation, needs, and eligibility for welfare assistance in accordance with the Town’s guidelines and State regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in social service programs or an equivalent and relevant combination of education and experience. This is a per diem stipend position with a flexible schedule.
