Town of New Durham

The Town of New Durham is accepting applications for a full-time Police Officer.  The community of New Durham is located in the Lakes Region, with a population of approximately 2700 residents.  The community has some of the most pristine water bodies in the region, for recreating and connecting with nature’s resources.  Applicants must be a minimum of 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred and must hold a valid driver’s license.  Preference will be afforded to those candidates already certified by the State of NH or other accepted police certifications.  Candidates may be required to complete a written and physical agility testing, oral board interview, polygraph, medical, psychological examinations and an extensive background investigation.  Attractive benefits package with pay compensation $18.50 - $23.76, and will be determined by the individual’s level of education, training and experience.
