This session provides a basic overview of New Hampshire law governing local welfare administration, including why guidelines are important and how assistance is provided. This session also will address fair hearings, suspension of assistance, and more.

Members of the NH Local Welfare Administrator's Association will conduct mock interviews for a client's initia appointment, as well as follow up appointment interviews to demonstrate the typical process for interviewing and determining a client's initia and ongoing eligibility for general assistance.
