Job Summary

This position is responsible for the supervision, inspection, and maintenance of public works stormwater infrastructure.  The position works within the framework of established practices, MS4 permit requirements, Town subdivision regulations, public works construction standards and department policies.  The position is also responsible for providing direct and close supervision of a crew of laborers, equipment operators, and semi-skilled workers in stormwater operations, winter maintenance operations, and other projects as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from standard High School or GED, Associates Degree in Civil technology preferred, plus at least four years experience in highway construction and maintenance work of which two years were in a lead worker capacity; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must have a valid State of New Hampshire Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-B with Air Brake Endorsement).
